From November 21st to 27th, 2019, 30 graduate students from the School of Law participated in an exchange to Waseda University in Japan consisting of a seven-day intensive course in Japanese law. The exchange group was led by Professor JIN Wenhui, deputy dean of our college, and YANG Zhijie, Secretary of the Youth League Committee.
Students attended theoretical courses, including courses on Japanese maritime law, intellectual property law, and dispute resolution. Students actively participated in discussions and had interactive exchange with both students and teachers. Professor JIN led discussions with Professor Wakita Takashi of Waseda University, discussing potential frameworks for future academic and student exchange.
This is part of an initiative by the School of Law to actively support students and teachers in academic exchange abroad, broadening student horizons through international education experiences and cultural exchange.
