On September 30, the School of Law hosted representatives of the Chongqing University International Office for a discussion on the department’s achievements and strategy in internationalization. Present at the meeting were CHEN Ying, GAO Xiang, CHANG Zhoutao and HUANG Yang of the International Office, and Secretary LIU Chun, Associate Professor HUANG Hui and Lecturer David J DEVLAEMINCK from the School of Law.
Those present discussed the internationalization achievements and strategy of the School of Law, including cooperation with foreign universities, student and faculty exchange. At present the school has long-term cooperation with Ohio State University Moritz School of Law and the University of California-Davis School of Law, including a dual degree LLM program. Our students and faculty, many of who have received degrees from abroad, often participate in international long-term and short-term exchange. While the School of Law is a leading faculty among the social sciences at Chongqing University in terms of internationalization, meeting participants then went on to discuss strategies for increased internationalization.
